Anchovy Meyer Lemon Aioli

Lucini Italia Co. is pleased to share our passion for authentic ingredients, like high-quality olive oil, through a collection of recipes inspired by the culinary traditions of Italy. A good sauce can take any recipe to the next level. Whether used as a spread for sandwiches and salads, or for dipping yummy bread, aioli is an extremely versatile sauce that can suit any taste.

This aioli features a finely chopped anchovy for that salty punch, as well as Dijon mustard and Meyer lemon to give it a tangy kick of citrus. Use it to make sandwiches pop, or to dress up a summer Italian salad. We love it paired with mild meats like chicken and fish. Find EVOO and other high-quality olive oil in our online shop.

Tips & Notes~
If you do not like anchovy you can just add a bit of salt instead. This works as a base for a variety of different flavored aiolis. You can add fresh herbs, some curry powder or hot sauce to make it spicy. Use some chopped roasted garlic in place of the fresh or some minced shallot or green onion to give it some bite.
