Cinque Apple Tart
Enjoy a twist on an authentic Italian treat, farinata, with the addition of sweet apples combined with cinnamon and sugar.

1 pouch (250g) Lucini® Traditional Cinque e Cinque
3 tbsp Lucini® Premium Select Extra Virgin Olive Oil®
3 cups water
2 tsp kosher salt
2 medium Gala apples, peeled and chopped
2 tsp butter
1 tsp cinnamon
white sugar, to taste
8oz jar Apricot Preserves
In a medium saucepan, heat apples and butter over medium heat until soft. Remove from heat.
Heat oven to 500˚F. Prepare the Cinque é Cinque mix according to the directions on the package, but before baking whisk in apples and cinnamon. Bake according to package directions (12 minutes with the oven door closed and 6 minutes with the oven door vented).
When the Cinque is cooked, remove from oven, and top with apricot preserves. Let sit for 5 minutes.
Cut into slices and serve with vanilla ice cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon and sugar.
